Olympic Games Cause A Rental Shortfall In London

July 18th 2012

There’s only a few days to go until the official start of the Olympic games, and one of the biggest questions for people working in London is how congested is it going to become over the next couple of months. Lack of rental property in London caused by the Olympics is putting off companies from relocating staff to the capital.

It’s normally a busy time of year for relocation agents, but this year, people who would normally be staying in short-term serviced accommodation until the start of September are unable to find any availability as Olympic visitors have rented all of the available property. This is resulting in London companies being forced to hold off on any new starters relocating this summer.
