At Intercounty we are really proud of our people and want you to know who they are. Some of you may regularly speak to members of our team, but may have never met them. As such, we thought it would be nice to share with you a quick interview spotlight with a member of our team each month.
In the hot seat is Gail Haselton, Lettings Account Manager
What I like best about working in Lettings The sense of achievement in providing an efficient service in the allocation of the rent payments ensuring that Landlords are paid at the earliest possible date.
What's the best piece of advice you could give a landlord? Be prepared for maintenance expenditure as your tenant will expect repairs to be made immediately and for your property to be maintained to a high standard. And be prepared to wait for your income, whilst the majority of tenants pay their rent on the due date, there will be some that do not. We recommend you allow for the fact that you may only receive 10 months rent a year and that you should allow 10 days from the rent due date before you will see funds in your account.
