Free life cover with Aviva

It’s great news that insurance company Aviva has launched a free life cover policy for families. They are offering families with children under the age of 4 years old, life cover of £15,000 free, for 12 months.

There’s no catch, the insurance company just want families to consider what would happen to their partner and children if one of you died. If you have two children under 4 then you could receive up to £30,000 free life cover for a year, and if you have three children you could receive £45,000.

It only takes a few minutes to apply and you could have peace of mind that you and your partner are insured if anything were to happen to either of you. If you would like to take advantage of this free offer, then please call Intercounty’s team on 01279 655248 or pop into your local branch of Intercounty for more information.

Aviva state that these are the type of questions we need to be asking ourselves:

• How would you and your family cope financially if you or your partner died suddenly and unexpectedly?

• Could you afford to stay in the house? Would you have to sell and downsize? For most families this is the last course of action they want to take at a time of bereavement

• Could you pay the mortgage off?

• Even if the mortgage was paid, what standard of living would your family have? This is even more important if your family has one partner earning more than the other. If the major earner dies, then there needs to be money available for the family to maintain their standard of living. (school trips, holidays, weekend trips out etc)

*A longer term life insurance plan may be cheaper than you thought:

£100,000 of level term assurance for a 30 year old non smoker, over an 18 year term is only £7.15*

£100,000 of joint level term assurance for two 30 year old non smokers, over an 18 year term is only £10.56 per month*

*Please note terms and conditions apply. This information is a summary only. You will receive a full policy document upon application. This policy will set out the terms, conditions and limitations of cover provided under the plan.
