Easy Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread Recipe

September 23rd 2014

Garlic bread is really cheap to buy ready made, so why make your own? Firstly it's still really cheap and easy to make, but it tastes so much better.

If you want to have a go at making your own cheesy garlic bread, this is what you will need:
1 Baguette sliced into 2 inch slices
1 x 250g pack of grated mozzarella
3 gloves of garlic
100g butter
1 tsp of rosemary, thyme and oregano - crushed with some olive oil

First of all turn on your grill to the hottest setting and place your bread slices on a baking tray until golden brown, and grill both sides. Meanwhile add your crushed garlic and butter to a small bowl and put in the microwave for around 60 seconds, depending on the power of your microwave. Once the bread has been toasted on both sides, generously brush each slice of bread with the garlic butter, then add the herbs and sprinkle with the cheese. Cook this for around 10 minutes until golden brown.
