This weekend and for the following two weeks London Olympia will host this year’s Ideal Home Exhibition, packed full of everything you could ever need for your home, as well as a chance to view all of the latest gadgets before they come onto the market.
If you are looking to renovate your home, you will be able to seek advice from some of the professionals at the show including this year’s celebrity guests George Clarke, who says that the secret to good renovation is in the planning, get some great British baking advice from the winner of The Great British Bake off - Candice Brown, Martin Lewis will be able to give you ideas on how to save money and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, King of design will be giving live demonstrations on how to do interior designing, as well as Olly Smith and Fred Sirieix.
At Intercounty we are always really interested checking out the life size ideal home concepts. This year there will be three houses showcased, the Property Ladder apartments, the rotating home as seen on Channel 4’s Amazing Spaces and the 21st Century House.
The 21st Century house has an intriguing mix of old and new, as it combines the look of a traditional home with all of the mod cons we would expect in a new build. This house interior of the house has been designed in a way that shows how to blend old with new to create a warm and inviting home.
