We work heavily with local schools, clubs and charities offering to help promote local events and hands-on help. Every member of staff is committed to spending 1 day a year helping at a local event. This could be anything from running the tuck shop at the school disco, conducting mock interviews for school leavers to being the backend of a pantomime horse in the donkey derby.
Many of the charities and schools will use our centrally loacted town centre offices as collection points for ticket sales due to our extended opening hours.
We want to genuinely help make our communities a better place to live in and we believe the best way to do that is to get involved and "stuck in".
Helping our community
Just to let you know the day was a resounding success – all 10 minute slots taken up from 10am to 1 pm. I was there all through and the atmosphere was wonderful: friendly, no bickering or fighting and we had our 3 puppy walkers present with their guide dogs too.
I shall be writing to Greg Young officially when the takings have been counted, but please mention this to him if you see him: we are indebted to your company and extremely grateful. Best wishes,
The day was a great success for the school and everyone had a lovely time.
Thank you for Intercountys promotional input and help, we will definitely let you know when our next event is coming up
