What would you compromise on when buying your new home?
Often when looking for a new home you may find yourself thinking ‘if only that house was in this location’ or ‘wouldn't’t it be great if this house had just one extra bedroom’. Recent research by Move with Us canvassed a number of independent estate agents and asked what kind of things buyers typically forfeited when purchasing their next home.
Nearly 40% of the agents noted that the size of a property’s garden is the first thing that a buyer would compromise on. Gardens were closely followed by the downstairs toilet (33.5%), then location (15.4%), parking (9.3%) and the least compromised feature the number of bedrooms (2.7%)
