There seems to be quite a choice of activities for children this half-term in the capital and also in the home counties, so we have tracked down some of the best sites for you to look at so you and your family can enjoy this October holiday.

At Duxford Museum, they are offering the chance for families to meet World War 2 Veterans from the 28th of October until the 1st of November, included in the price of standard admission, and also between the 27th of October and 4th of November children will be able to hear about the dangerous and thrilling missions of RAF Bomber Command during the Second World War, read by story tellers.
