Christmas Craft Fair– if you live near Letchworth and need ideas for Christmas presents then why not visit the Letchworth Christmas Craft Fair, it’s one of the biggest and brightest craft fairs in the area. There will be work displayed by local and national artists open from Monday to Friday 10.00 am until 17.00 and Saturday from 10.00 until 15.00, until the 20 December, held at the Letchworth Arts Centre, 2 The Arcade, Letchworth Garden City, and best of all admission is free.

Real Ice Skating - Frosts Garden Centre in Willington are celebrating Christmas this year by offering a real outdoor ice-rink until the 8th of January 2013, there is a viewing area, food, treats and stalls. Prices are £8.49 for adults and £5.99 for children, for more information call 01908 583511.

Reindeer Event – the Reindeer are visiting Burwash Manor in Cambridgeshire this weekend from 2.30pm until 7.30 pm, Prices are £7 per adult, £3 per child (a child is 12 and under) with under 3’s getting in for free. The Reindeer who have come all the way from Scandinavia, The ticket price includes time with the reindeer (including special photo opportunities) and a visit to see Father Christmas in his Grotto, take a (miniature) steam train to his Grotto. The Cambridge Ice Skating rink is back – between the 19th December and the 7th of January, on Parker’s Peace Cambridge. There will be a 6,500 sq ft rink, plus a decked area for spectators and a café-bar where you can get some drinks. There will also be great musical entertainment.

The Cambridge Arts Theatre are showing Jack and the Beanstalk from Saturday 6th December until Thursday 3rd January starring Matt Crosby as Dame Trott Rollan Bell as Sill Billy, Jonny Weldon as Jill, John Weldon and David Nellist with Emily Tierney as the fairy Godmother and Stephen Beckett as Squire Nastee.

Cambridge Corn Exchange - Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvellous Medicine - from Thurday the 13thof December until 3rd of January. The award-winning Birmingham Stage Company (Horrible Histories, Why The Whales Came and Danny Champion of the World) is back on tour with a brand new adaptation of one of Roald Dahl’s funniest and most exciting stories.

Carol’s from King’s College – choral service is held at 5.30 from Monday to Saturday, and at 10.30 and 3.30 on Sunday. The doors open 15 mins before each service.
