Jon Cooke, director at Intercounty has been cycling around the UK to help raise money for the estate agency foundation. Here is his lastest blog about his journey.
Actually it is not the Eiffel Tower it’s the Blackpool Tower!
We started the day in Southport meeting up with Julian from Pearson Ferrier Estate Agents, who not only looks the part, but had grown Bradley Wiggins side burns especially for the event. We started the day cycling along the coast and then inland. It was turning out to be one of our fastest days as thankfully it was all fairly flat.
We then went back to the coast cycling along the whole of the promenade at Blackpool where Sean insisted on stopping for an ice cream, but we drew the line on going on the Big One.
Called to into a couple of estate agents and then carried on our way to our finish point Kendal in the Lake District. The last part of the journey was quite fast mainly because we were all thinking of the rest day the next day.
