Jon Cooke, director at Intercounty has been cycling around the UK to help raise money for the estate agency foundation. Here is his lastest blog about his journey.
Successfully completed 91 ½ miles which included some 1 in 4 hill climbs (25%) plus some 25 mph fast flat roads. The ‘Wiggo’ team was on its own today with no agents joining in, however we did call into 3 estate agents offices en route.
The picture to the left is our tribute to the superb gold medal achieved today by Bradley Wiggins (look closely and you’ll see the sideburns).
Thank you to our sponsors yesterday NAEA & ARLA. The evening saw a reception in Weston Super Mare by one of our main sponsors Fine & Country and it was great to see a number of agents cheering us on including Andrews.
Tomorrow (August 2nd) is a well-deserved rest day however it won’t be much of a rest as we must be on one of the largest campsites in the world. Sean has decided to jump on a train and go to the Olympics for the day to meet his family and my son suggested that myself and him went on a bike ride!!! But we’ve decided to do a bit of fishing instead (which I have to say I absolutely hate).
Friday sees Mark from Experian rejoin us plus a couple of other agents for our trip from Weston Super Mare to Barry, kindly sponsored CJ Hole.
