Last week Intercounty managed to raise £202.56 for Red Nose Day by running their very own cupcake bake off. Everyone in the offices participated by bringing in their home baked cupcakes to be judged by the other contestants. After sampling slices of the cupcakes they then chose their favourite by writing the corresponding number of their favourite cake onto a piece of paper and putting it into a bucket. The votes were then counted and Kate Galloni was announced the winner. So far year’s Red Nose Day appeal has raised £73,026,234, if you would like to donate it’s not too late, just follow this link
Each year Red Nose Day funds more than 2,000 projects in the UK for a range of issues including homelessness and mental health to dementia and vulnerable young people. It also helps children in Africa – since the appeal last year, the charity has managed to help 11.7 million people by giving immunisations, education, maternal health and many other issues.
