Holiday Meal Planner For Kids…

We are now well into the summer holidays, and what a varied summer it’s been, one minute boiling hot, the next we've experienced gales and rain. If you like many of us Mum’s are struggling to think of menu ideas during the holidays, then we have found some inspiration from this article on the website, Netmum’s, their Six week meal planner for kids. Not only will it give you some great ideas for your kid’s menu, the menus have also been designed to offer a healthy and balanced diet for your kids too. We’ve put the meal planners into days, but you can mix and match the menus depending on your store cupboards contents:

Week 1:

Monday:

Shepherdess pie

Strawberry smoothies

Tuesday:

Spaghetti carbonara

Fresh strawberries & gooseberries

Wednesday:

Roast turkey joint with mash & veg (make enough for 2 more days)

Tinned fruit

Thursday:

Turkey & cranberry wraps (use leftovers from last night)

Banana cake

Friday:

Spanish rice (use last of the leftover turkey)

Week 2:
