Holiday At Home In Essex And Herts…

If you have decided to stay at home rather than go away with the kids this summer holiday, then you will not be alone; around 32% of Brits chose to stay at home for their vacation than go away, so we have put together a list of summer activities in and around the Herts and Essex area:

• 16th August - Public Open Day and Children's Willow weaving activity at Great Easton Gardens, Great Easton, Essex. For more information

• 19th August, Fabulous Family Fun Day at Bishop's Stortford Rugby Club - 12pm onwards

• 19th Aug 11.30 till 2.30,  Family picnic  at Wethersfield pavilion, Essex

• 24th – 28th of August , 50th Anniversary at Sawbridgeworth Cricket, in celebration they will be hosting a cricket week. For more information

• Saturday 5th September, 7pm to 7am, Cardboard City 2015. This event is to raise money and awareness for the homeless and vulnerably house in Harlow by spending the night in a cardboard box. Email<>

• 6th of September, Debden Cycle 3 Counties,  £10 entry. All money going to the 33/101 Engineering Regiment's Injured Soldiers Fund. Choice of either 35 or 50 miles, 3 counties covered on both rides, Essex, Hert's & Camb's. Free parking and free chips from a pub on the route. For more information
