Gardening in July…

At this time of year we can really make the most of being outside, whether it’s enjoying a few BBQ’s with friends and family or just spending time preening our gardens.

We can really sit back and start to enjoy the hard work we’ve put into our gardens. It’s a time when we need to keep deadheading flowering plants, keeping it watered, and the grass mown – it’s also a good time of year to feed your grass, and if you have any left over beer in the bottom of bottles this acts as a great fertiliser, just add it to water and sprinkle onto your lawn.

If you are growing courgettes these will need to be picked before they turn into marrows. If you have any apricot, peach or nectarine trees these fruits will be ready to harvest.

If you are looking at buying a house which has a lovely garden ideal for relaxing, growing vegetables or plants, Saffron Walden Intercounty has this lovely 4 bedroom house for sale for £675,000 with large grounds set in the most picturesque location with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

The house is located in Arkesden, which is a charming village nestled in the Essex countryside, featuring the renowned Axe and Compasses Gastro Pub. It is only a short distance from Audley End mainline station with links into Cambridge and London Liverpool Street. There are well regarded both primary and secondary schools nearby and the local shop in Clavering is only a short drive. EPC awaiting Band.
