Remember, remember the 5th of November. Families up and down the country will be enjoying fireworks night this year, but if you are planning do your own fireworks night then you need to take care, as damage to your own and adjoining properties might not be covered by your home insurance, this coupled with the fact that the NHS state that over 1,000 injuries per year are caused by fireworks, could make it worth while going to one of the many organised fireworks displays taking place in Essex instead. So here is a list of firework displays close to our branches:
Felsted Primary School
4th November: Family tickets £15 in advance or £5 per person on the gate.

Dunmow Recreation Ground
5th November: The 2016 Great Dunmow Round Table Firework Display is set to be bigger and better than ever this year. Following the success of last year we are expecting a record number of visitors, we will now be accepting online tickets at both entrance gates, and offering early discounts for those that buy in advance. Following comments from last year we have improved the Bar and BBQ and we have a brand new soundtrack for the fireworks!
Saffron Walden Common
5th November: Gates open 6pm - display & entertainments start at 7pm.
Bishop's Stortford Rugby Football Club - BSRFC
5th November: Saturday 5th November with the fireworks starting at 18:45. Attractions on the night include fairground rides and music. Bar, BBQ, kiddies fairground, live music and fireworks. You can beat the queues on the night by purchasing tickets in advance at www.bsrfctickets.co.uk or at Intercounty Bishop’s Stortford office.
Sawbridgeworth Town Football Club
5th November: Fireworks and entertainment. Family Fireworks Display 6:30pm, Gates open 4:30pm Entry is £5 Adults, £3 U16's, Licensed Bar/Burgers/Bangers/Jacket Potatoes
Elms Farm – Stansted Bonfire night
7th: Gates open from 6.30pm, bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. Hot food and drinks available.
Harlow Council Fireworks
6th November: Bonfire lit at 6.45pm, Fireworks at 7.15pm. Please note there will be no funfair this year. Free admission. At the Town Park
