Does Your Home Have The X-Factor?

This can be very subjective but there are some common factors that make some properties more popular than others. On the whole if you have a home which is priced sensibly and is presented well then there is no reason why your house will seem less attractive than another one.

However through our own experience and other surveys that have been completed this year in the UK we have put together a list of the things that would give any home the X-Factor:

• A home in a friendly neighbourhood

• A home with good broadband width

• In an area with low crime

• Good local schools

• A property in an up and coming area

• A home that has an extra special design element that sets it apart from the rest

• A home with a top quality finish

• Within walking distance to a good pub

• In a quiet location but with good local amenities

• Good road and rail links to the capital

• Good local schools

• A home which is not over looked

• Easy access to either parks and nature

• Local shops and a good market

• A property with flexibility to expand

• Mains electricity, gas and water

We currently have this property for sale in Dunmow (as featured in the photo):

Located on Parsonage Downs is this three/four bedroom detached family home for sale for offer over £650,000, set in 0.416 of an acre. The property is within walking distance of the town and its accommodation includes kitchen, breakfast room, lounge, dining room, conservatory, study/bedroom 4, utility in the garage, three bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. Furthermore there are private landscaped mature gardens, treble garage with ample parking and scope to extend STPP. EPC band E.

  • EPC Band E
  • 3/4 Bedroom Detached
  • Kitchen & Breaklfast Room
  • Lounge & Dining Room
  • Conservatory
  • Study/Bedroom 4

Dunmow and Saffron Walden were recently voted in the top ten of best places to live in the UK by The Daily Telegraph, because of the towns ticking a large majority of the things on this list, if you would like to find out more about the property in Essex or Herts, then why not pop into your local branch of Intercounty.
