This year the Clavering Fete has an Olympic theme and will be hosting a few new and exciting events in the grand ring including..................Childrens Olympics! The medals are on order and the winners podium is under construction. How fast are you in reverse? Do you mind getting a little wet? Can you be the first to get dressed? Will your egg stay on your spoon as you race for the finish line?

Hopefully some of the eggs will stay intact for the famous Clavering Fete Egg Throwing Competition that can get a tad messy. The Fun Dog Show makes a welcome return this year with Dog Agility, Best in Show and The Dog that Looks Most Like its Owner.

If you would love to spend a lovely family afternoon with lots to do and see including a traditional Tug of War, maypole dancing, belly dancing, stalls, music, BBQ, Beer tent, Feel the Veg and you can get Dad soaked in the stocks then this is the place to be, the fete is open from 13:00 to 16:00.

Gin the Pig will be in The Drop Zone where you can guess exactly where she will poop! Or maybe you might prefer to spend some time getting to know our exotic animals or try your luck on the Maggot racing.

Remember to leave time for a well earned Pimms or real ale whilst the kids have fun on the bouncy castle.

And don’t forget if you are entering the scarecrow competition to bring your scarecrows with you, so that they can be judged by the panel.
