Royston is a quant market town situated on the Greenwich Meridian, 43 miles north of London. The town sits at the junction of the A10 and A505 roads, and is convenient for fast links to London and the north, as it is only a short distance from both the A1(M) and M11 motorways. It is also within easy reach of Cambridge.
Situated within North Hertfordshire is the market town of Royston close to a variety of local amenities as well as the city of Cambridge. The town offers several types housing from the recently built Malt Place development to the many listed and character buildings.
Royston is home to the National Trust Wimpole stately home, offering several parks and gardens as well as the home itself to the public. The town provides three well-regarded schools as well as several sixth form colleges.
Royston train station provides a direct and frequent train service to London Kings Cross and the city of Cambridge. Further to this there are several bus services running from the town centre to local amenities, as well as the surrounding towns and villages such as Cambridge. Royston is situated close to both the A505 and the A10.
