If you are the dedicated driver or perhaps just decided to cut down on the amount of alcohol you consume it can be challenging to find a nice grown up non-alcoholic drink, so we have found some mocktail recipes from the BBC GoodFood website which will give you some Festive cheer:
Orange & cranberry spritz by James Martin
You will need:
500ml smooth orange juice
500ml smooth cranberry juice
400ml sparkling elderflower drink
Just mix the orange and cranberry juice in a large jug, slowly pour sparkling elderflower and mix together and serve with ice.
Drivers' punch
I made this last year for the drivers, and it was a real party pleaser. The fresh frozen cranberries make it look really festive.
100g cranberry
100ml/3½fl oz cranberry juice
500ml blood orange juice (Sanguinello)
Juice of 1 lime
Thin wedges of lime
Thin wedges of orange

Peppermint hot chocolate
This is a good one to make if you are hosting a diner party – and it looks very classy.
You will need:
200g plain chocolate, broken into chunks
600ml milk
150ml pot single or double cream
Sugar to taste
6 peppermint candy canes, to serve mint sprigs
600ml Appletise, sparkling apple juice drink
