It’s finally that time of year, when we have to try and get our children and our homes back into some kind of routine for the busy new term ahead. One of the pressures of family life is trying to get the most out of the limited time we have, so we've checked out the best value school uniform available, as well as giving you the opportunity to buy one of two beautiful family homes we have for sale just next door to the Herts & Essex High School and Hockerill Anglo European College.

If you are thinking that you can’t buy a blazer from a cheaper shop because they won’t be able to create your school’s badge then Tesco now offer an embroidery service, where they recreate your school’s logo. Tesco also have the best bargain school uniforms this year, buy a whole uniform for around £5.75, on their basic range, so what does it include:

Boys basics sweatshirt- £2

Unisex sweatshirt - £3-£4 (available in red, blue, green, black and grey)

2-pack polo shirts - £2-£5 (available in white, red, yellow and blue).

Basics trousers - £1.75

Skirt - £3-£5

Asda have some great deals on their George range too, buy a whole uniform for around £7.50 and if you are worried about the quality they offer a 100-day guarantee on all school wear. Plus if you spend £20 or more you can get further discount on-line using this code: BTS2014

Sweatshirt - £2-£4 (available in red, blue, green, grey, black and brown)

2-pack polo shirts - £2.50-£4

Trousers -  £3-£5 (up to age 14 only)

Skirt - £3-£5 (up to age 14 only)

Other shops including Sainsbury’s, BHS and John Lewis all offer a good range of school wear at a reasonable price.

If you want to make the daily kids run a bit easier then Intercounty Bishop's Storford have just launched an exclusive gated development in Bishop’s Stortford which sits between The Herts & Essex High School and Hockerill Anglo European College.

Scholars Close consists of two four bedroom detached homes.  Both homes have four double bedrooms, a luxurious family bathroom and an en suite shower room to the master bedroom. There are two reception rooms; a large sitting room with a fireplace and a study/dining room.  The modern kitchen breakfast room has high quality integrated appliances.  In addition the ground floor has a downstairs cloakroom and a utility room.  Both properties have 10-year NHBC Guarantees.

Outside both homes have secluded rear gardens backing on to school playing fields, a single garage, and parking spaces for two cars as well as really useful visitor parking.
