If you are looking to save some money on a few every day expenses here are some of our money saving tips below:

Saving money on your car's fuel consumption:

Although the price of petrol is coming down in value, we haven't really seen a change on our petrol pump courtyards; this is because petrol is bought in dollars and the pound is at an all time low against the dollar, meaning little reflection on the prices we are currently paying. However the good news is you can save a bit of money by following these simple rules:

Make sure your tyres are at the correct pressure, as if they are not you could be using more petrol. Check your car manual for the correct tyre pressure.

If you have a roof rack or roof box attached to your car and you're not using it, remove it because it will increase the consumption of petrol for your car.

Only fill half of your petrol tank (unless you are going on a long journey) - petrol is heavy, so by only filling it half way will save you money on petrol.

Try and avoid short journeys when possible, as these journeys use up more petrol.

Air Conditioning - this consumes petrol, try opening the windows, rather than turning on the air-conditioning.

Savings on Every day items - House insurance, over 50 discounts, car insurance, changing utility companies check out the Money Saving Expert website.
