About the Town

Nottingham is an exciting yet compact city. During the day Nottingham is a vibrant place to be. We have world class award winning restaurants alongside independent delis and cafes. The shops can't be beaten, with designer Paul Smith's flagship store, stylish shopping boutiques and two large shopping centres all within the city centre. There is also a wealth of culture in Nottingham, with such visitor attractions such as Nottingham Castle, theatres, art centres, galleries and the Tales of Robin Hood. It's a great place for your family to live, because there's always so much to see and do.

As a place to live, Nottingham has a mixture of property types and styles. In the centre, there is the mix of loft style apartments in the Lace Market or the magnificent Victorian built Park Estate by the Castle with its gas lit street lights. Further out, there are the traditional two and three storey terraced housing in Radford, The Meadows and Sherwood to name a few. If traditional bay front suburban semis are your thing, Nottingham has such areas as Wollaton, Beeston, Mapperley and Mapperley Park, Woodthorpe and Arnold. If you want to live in the countryside, there are some excellent villages such as Woodborough and Burton Joyce. We also have our sister office in West Bridgford, which covers all properties South of the River Trent including the Vale of Belvoir.
